ANDERS SLETVOLD MOE

We are proud to present the Norwegian artist Anders Sletvold Moes first solo show at the gallery, he is currently based in Malmö where he graduated from Malmö Art Academy in 2006. He has since then participated in a series of group shows and has also presented a solo show in Oslo last August.
The show consists of four new works which all are intergraded into the architecture of the space and executed on site in the gallery. By altering features of the space Sletvold Moe gives us as viewers new vantage points for seeing the pieces on display as well as the gallery space itself. Where he before have used bright and sometimes fluorescent colours and works playing with natural light he has for this show turned to purely black and white. In these new works he activaties the entire gallery by using different methods where he is changing the surfaces of the walls and floor in the gallery. Doing this the space is both extended and almost folds into itself.
