We are pleased to present this group show with a constellation of artists whose works could be approched as concrete and formal in apperance. When they all have poetic openings in their readings, conceptual references and form.

Eftihis Patsourakis piece Skeleton consists of passport photo paper and the holes left when the photos are taken away. In what usually is discarded the artists has found the ghost of the identity of the persons in the images. Alexander Gutkes’ sculpture Wastebasket (Bela) is a basket made out of white cardboard, filled with perfect geometrical Origami shapes. Alexius Hubers paper reliefs Optical Concepts from 1965 play with the way we look at and pass by the artwork. The way they are made is geometric and exact in order to achive these illusions. Magnus Thierfelder extends this in his piece Outlook where two oval shaped holes are cut into a large sheet of paper and then hung on the wall. When we as viewers pass by the work the holes invert to a pair of eyes following our movements in the exhibition space.

Knut Henrik Henriksen will show a series of wallpaper sculptures set on plinths. Nils Erik Gjerdevik is most know for his large scale ornamented paintings on canvas but here he shows a set of watercoulours, which echoes his larger paintings and wall murals. Franziska Furters piece FIN is a B/W sunset 150 cm wide. As viewers we meet the end at the beginning of the show, which forces us to see all the works in a new way.
